OPJ Group has been one of the leading companies to set-up Grid connected Solar PV Plants in India, it has built, owns and operates one of the first Grid connected Solar PV Plant (5MW) in Tinwari, Rajasthan, India, along with assisting to build another (5MW) Solar PV plant for its associate OPG Energy Private Limited at Phalodi, Rajasthan, (an award winning plant for being the second plant to have commissioned under the JNNSM) having setup both the plants under the migration scheme of the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). The group has been focusing in the Solar Business since 2008, even before the JNSSM was announced, and has been in constant touch with Ministry of New and renewable Energy Ministry (MNRE), Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and various government bodies for developing Solar PV plants in India.
